On Wednesday November 6th, our department held a very successful event for our undergraduate students titled, “What you can do with your BA in Law.”

Four alumni of our program from a variety of different careers spoke about their experience in our program, their advice for students entering the workforce, any challenges they have overcome in their careers and so much more. We also had some excellent questions from students who attended.

Our panelists included: Alexandra Callinan: Associate Lawyer, Kingwell Immigration Law, Josh Hruschka: Senior Labour Relations Office, Carleton University, Georgette Morris: Specialist, Inclusion Diversity Equity Accessibility, Government of Canada, Carmen Barcena: Head of Ceremonial and Protocol Services, Department of Public Works.

Thank you to all students who attended, and to our panelists for taking time out of their busy schedules to come out and speak to students!

The four panelists, along with department chair, Zeina Bou-Zeid (left) shared some valuable advice for students who are starting to think about their career pursuits after graduation.
