On Friday March 28th, we were pleased to welcome to campus Michelle Douglas, a Carleton Alumni, veteran and Executive Director of the LGBT Purge Fund. Michelle shared her incredible story in this semester’s Chet Mitchell Memorial Lecture titled, “Canada’s LGBT Purge: Is History Repeating Itself?” We were also honoured to have in attendance, former Governor General, the Rt Hon Michaëlle Jean!
