Please join us for this year’s 18th annual GLSA Graduate Student Conference, which brings together emerging scholars from across disciplines. Hosted by graduate students, this event is a space for critical engagement, peer exchange, and fresh perspectives on pressing sociolegal issues.
From global crises and shifting legal norms to new forms of resistance, regulation, and governance, our theme—“Sociolegal Inquiries in our Global Unknown”—invites participants to reflect on the role of law in shaping and responding to the unpredictable. We encourage bold, interdisciplinary work that interrogates how legal systems interact with political, cultural, technological, and ecological change.
Through paper presentations and collaborative sessions, the conference offers a supportive environment to share ideas, receive feedback, and build connections with fellow graduate researchers committed to thinking critically about law, regulation, and governance in uncertain times.
This year, we’ve introduced a pay-what-you-can model for students to help keep the event accessible, alongside a flat registration fee for faculty and staff.
Please register here if you wish you attend.
