About:
Carleton University’s Graduate Legal Studies Association will be hosting the 15th annual Legal Studies Conference, titled Sociolegal Shifts: Synergies and Solutions. The event will be held on Thursday, May 12th and will feature emerging scholars, departmental highlights, and opportunities for interdisciplinary engagement. The theme focuses on the ever-changing landscape of law and legality with a particular focus on pressing issues such as the climate crisis, global health, wealth inequality, and more. This interdisciplinary conference offers graduate studies across disciplines an opportunity to present past, present or future research while developing conference skills at the beginning of their careers.
