The Department of Law and Legal Studies’ Towards Anti-Oppression Committee is pleased to present a conversation with Havin Guneser and Prof. Harriet Friedmann.
Our guests will introduce the Academy of Social Science, its communes, and the journal Democratic Modernity as a collective platform for anti-oppressive, decolonial, bottom-up learning, research, and political education.
The event offers an accessible entry point into democratic modernity as a horizon of hope rooted in feminist struggle, community self-organization, and transnational solidarity.
A Q&A will follow the discussion. Registration will open soon.
