YOU DON’T LIKE THE TRUTH: 4 DAYS INSIDE GUANTANAMO

Film and panel discussion

This documentary film is about the encounter between Canadian intelligence agents (CSIS) and Omar Khadr, a 15 year old Canadian boy arrested in Afghanistan and imprisoned in Guantanamo in 2002. Based on actual CCTV tapes, the film reveals four days of intense interrogation of Omar Khadr on his own and without legal representation.

This film contains interviews with various experts, and it analyzes the political, legal, human rights, and scientific aspects of a forced dialogue.

Following the film there will be brief reaction comments from the two panelists, followed by Q & A.

Chair: Dr. Christiane Wilke, Dept. of Law and Legal Studies
