Kyle is a PhD Student specializing in public health, law, and queer studies. Their research investigates the role of public health campaigns in shaping policies and social norms, focusing on LGBTQ2+ communities. Through their research, Kyle aims to uncover the power of discourse as a form of governance within the (public) health field and its implications on society, norms, and behaviours. Their interdisciplinary work bridges social sciences and humanities, drawing from public health, sociology, political science, law and cultural studies, ultimately contributing to the broader fields of Health Humanities and Critical Public Health.
