Prior to joining the PhD programme at Carleton, Diksha worked as a teaching assistant at a private institute in India. She served as a volunteer for rural improvement with the National Student Service (NSS) scheme in India for three years. After graduating law school, she practised exclusively in criminal law as an attorney. As a contract instructor, she taught graduate courses in the LLM programme at the Department of Post Graduate Studies in Law at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (India). At present, she is the PhD representative of the BIPOC/EDI subcommitte at the Department of Law and Legal Studies in Carleton.
