Jamie Brownlee teaches and conducts research in the areas of Canadian and international political economy, the sociology of education, corporate crime, environmental policy and climate change, and access to information law. He has published two solo-authored books and two edited volumes. In 2019, Jamie won the Faculty of Public Affairs Teaching Excellence Award. In 2020, he received a Contract Instructor Teaching Award. His current work focuses on the political economy of Canada’s fossil fuel industry.
