Student Placement Form

The Department of Law and Legal Studies offers the Service Learning Placement. Here is some important information about the placements:

1. The placement is available as two-course options: 0.5 credit (LAWS 4906 or 4907) for one term OR 1.0 credit (LAWS 4905) for an entire year
2. Students must be available to work approximately 7 to 10 hours per week for the academic term (some placements may require more time, though this is rare)
3. Students are required to find a host organization independently and check if the organization is open to taking students for placement. In addition to this, students are also required to find an academic supervisor
4. Students are required to read through the FAQ’s and Placement Guide for detailed information
