Resources
Whether you are looking to host your own event, track the great work you’ve been doing outside of the classroom, or access funding to attend a conference; the Student Experience Office has put together a list of resources available to undergraduate students to help them get the most out of their university activities.
Campus Space Booking
The Student Experience Office manages the allocation of classroom space for Carleton University-accredited campus groups, academic societies, and CUSA certified clubs. Our website has information on food and beverage services, audio-visual equipment services, and risk management forms.
Co-Curricular Record
The Co-Curricular Record (CCR) system is a way to record and encourage involvement in student leadership, mentorship, extracurricular activities, and community service opportunities among students at Carleton University. Students are able to track their contributions and accomplishments from the volunteer work and campus contributions they are doing outside of the classroom and present it to potential employers and/or graduate schools as an official documentation.
CUx Experience Fund
CUx provides Carleton students with an opportunity to get involved, build community and connect with peers through developing programming. Ravens who participate in CUx will be empowered to cultivate meaningful relationships and intentionally contribute to their communities. Our CUx website offers event planning resources and the opportunity to apply for funding to help reduce the cost of hosting events for the Carleton community.
Student Activities Fund
The Student Activities Fund provides financial support to recognized undergraduate students or student groups who are looking to participate in educational conferences or events that: enhance a student’s leadership potential, promote Carleton University externally, or complement the student’s in-class experience. These funds are provided with the generous support of the Carleton University Alumni Association and MBNA.
Volunteer Board
The Student Experience Office is proud to partner with Volunteer Ottawa to connect community organizations and students with volunteer opportunities.
