SLaLS alumnus and co-founder of charitable organization LiveWorkPlay, Keenan Wellar (MA/01) was recently awarded Honourary Membership to the Golden Key International Honour Society in a 16 November, 2018 ceremony at Carleton University.
Wellar completed his MA in Applied Language Studies in 2001 with a focus on discourse studies and, although it has been almost 20 years, he is remembered fondly by his advisors Natasha Artemeva and Aviva Freedman.
Wellar continues to give back to Carleton as a member of the Alumni Mentors Program.
