A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed and action plan developed to encourage Carleton University students visit and experience Korea.  Under the agreement, qualified Carleton University students will be able to access TaLK (Teach and Learn in Korea) placement opportunities and receive funding support from the Korean Government English Volunteer Scholarship.

The agreement, ratified by members of SLaLS, Carleton International, and Korea’s National Institute for International Education in a 20 November, 2019 meeting, also aims to help improve English language education of elementary school students in Korea’s rural areas.
