Congratulations to the 2020/2021 recipient of the Lynne Young ALDS Graduate Award, Osama Elbeyaly, who is currently completing his Masters thesis in ALDS.

The Lynne Young ALDS Graduate Award is awarded annually by the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs on the recommendation of the Director of the School of Linguistics and Language Studies (SLaLS). The recipient must be a graduate students enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program in the Applied Language and Discourse Studies (ALDS) program at Carleton University. Eligible recipients demonstrate academic excellence.  This award was established in 2019 in memory of Dr. Lynne Young to honor her contributions to SLaLS and her community.
