As part of her independent study in the Winter 2022 semester, Honours Linguistics student Georgia Jay made a video about bimodal bilingual language acquisition – i.e., learning signed and spoken languages simultaneously. She talks about sign languages like ASL as well as popular simplified systems like “baby sign”. The video is geared toward to the general public.
