Denise DeShaw Receives Coronation Medal
Congratulations to our American Sign Language (ASL) Coordinator, Denise DeShaw, who is a recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal. Denise was one of only 25 Deaf Canadians who received this honour.
The Canadian Association of the Deaf – Association des Sourds du Canada (CAD-ASC) announced the recipients of the King Charles III Coronation Medal on February 13, 2025. The Coronation Medal, administered by the Chancellery of Honours at Rideau Hall, is awarded to Canadians who have made remarkable contributions to their communities.
