Meet Your Student Ambassadors for 2025-2026
We are excited to introduce you to three members of the Arts and Social Sciences Student Ambassador group for 2025-2026. Ambassadors represent the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) and play an important role in events and outreach initiatives.
Leilah Bielser

Leilah is in her final year of a BA Honours in Linguistics with a minor in Political Science, and is currently completing an Honours thesis.
Mya Chantler

Mya is pursuing a BA Honours degree in Linguistics, with a concentration in Psycholinguistics and Communication Differences.
Abdullah Baqais

Abdullah studies Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering, and is passionate about language learning, new experiences, and connecting with people.
Third- and fourth-year Arts and Social Sciences students have the opportunity to become an official Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences representative through the Student Ambassador Program, enhancing interpersonal, public speaking, and networking skills. Ambassadors play a crucial role in recruitment events, high school outreach, talks, and panel events.
