New Book Co-Edited by Rachelle Vessey Explores Language Ideology and Metalinguistic Discourse
Associate Professor Rachelle Vessey has co-edited a new book, Current Approaches to Language Ideology and Metalinguistic Discourse.
The volume brings together research on cutting-edge developments at the intersection of language ideology and metalinguistic discourse, showcasing the potential of diverse approaches. In the volume, two chapters are co-authored by Dr. Vessey, including one chapter with colleague Professor Jaffer Sheyholislami. A commentary chapter was authored by Professor Tommaso Milani (Penn State University), who was a plenary speaker at Carleton’s 2024 Multidisciplinary Approaches in Language Policy and Planning Conference.
