My interest in the world’s languages led me to pursue my MA degree in Linguistics at California State University Fullerton. I then learned about language documentation when I took a linguistic field methods class and I became interested in saving the world’s languages from extinction. Carleton has a great PhD program in language documentation and revitalization where I can get the training I need under great faculty, professors, and researchers.
