Welcome
The faculty and staff of Carleton Music are looking forward to working with students in our programs and seeing them excel. We are interested in creating a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment and we are committed to fostering a space of support and student engagement.
Though we’re all supposed to stay apart this year, you have a community of Carleton friends, Professors, and supportive staff all focused on helping you on your journey as you strive to discover new things about yourselves, about music and the world around you.
Making music together will be very different this year. Our technical team has worked hard to move academic courses, performance instruction, ensembles and Masterclasses online. Together, we will learn new skills and discover new ways of collaborating.
We recognize that this will be challenging year, given the evolving COVID-19 situation, and that different kinds of support may be required for us all to succeed.
