Dr. Neda Faregh, a health psychologist and an independent consultant, partners with various non-governmental and United Nations organizations, such as UNICEF, UNHCR, and the World Health Organization. She holds the position of Research Director at the Lady Davis Institute, part of McGill University, where she collaborates with the Culture and Mental Health Research Unit of the Lady Davis Institute and the Department of Psychiatry, addressing culturally-inclusive approaches to mental health disparities.
She is involved in ongoing research and development projects in Mali and the Democratic Republic of Congo, which follow an implementation science protocol, integrating training components in line with WHO’s MhGAP guidelines and ensuring the integration of specific, appropriate training modules into the research design. Simultaneously, Dr. Faregh isĀ involved in developing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy methods, specifically targeting cognitive flexibility. Dr. Faregh is open to supervising students for their thesis work.
