Seeking Students for Carleton Computer Science Inclusion Initiative

Do you have ideas on how to make Carleton’s Computer Science more inclusive, or are you interested to contributing to a more inclusive culture? Are you enthusiastic about working with other students on a vision to foster belonging? Are you inspired to bring your creativity and computer science skills to tackle inequities (e.g., based on gender, race, ability, and intersecting identities)?

Join other students in an exciting new initiative being launched by Carleton’s Equity and Inclusive Communities in partnership with the School of Computer Science. Through a 1.5-hour online training, full 1-day workshop to be held on September 3, 2026, and three 1-hour workshops in September and October, you will contribute to reimagining how relevant, engaging, student-led inclusion initiatives can be developed and implemented.

Interested? Apply at this link (application deadline: July 17, 2026).

Selected students will be offered an honorarium (up to $300) and a credit on their co-curricular record.
