Life Skills 101 Podcast

The Life Skills 101 Podcast is a series of episodes that connects Carleton University students with the stories and life experiences of Carleton Alumni. In each episode, a featured alumnus discusses their successes and challenges to offer current students insight for building persistence and capacity, and provide a space for skill development and reflection among listeners.

SOAR Student Leadership Conference

An annual conference for student leaders at Carleton University where attendees are challenged and inspired to develop their leadership skills through informative and interactive workshops and presentations. Each year brings a new keynote speaker to Carleton Campus to share their experience and advice for students in attendance. Past keynote speakers have include Martin Luther King III, Adrienne Clarkson, and Andre De Grasse.

Student Life Awards

A set of financial awards that have been established by Carleton University Alumni and stakeholders that serve the purpose of recognizing students for their significant and impactful contributions to the Carleton community. Awards range from $500 – $4,000 with applications launching annually in October and presented to winners in the winter term.
