Brian Strong Receives Future Learning Innovation Fellowship

Congratulations to Brian Strong! Brian received a Future Learning Innovation Fellowship from Teaching and Learning Services (TLS). This fellowship provides funding and support for instructors to explore innovative technologies that address teaching and learning challenges.

Brian’s project will use an AI-based Classroom Teaching Simulator (ACTS) in Methodology and Practicum in Teaching English as a Second Language (ALDS 5215X). The tool creates a virtual classroom where students can practice teaching ESL, get instant feedback, and build skills. This project seeks to address the challenge of limited real-world practice.
