Located on the fourth floor of the MacOdrum Library, the Discovery Centre is Carleton University’s centre for undergraduate research and student engagement.

The Discovery Centre was designed as a flexible and inspirational learning space to provide a much-needed atmosphere where undergraduate students could realize their full potential through collaborative and interactive learning. Recognizing the value in developing partnerships between students and instructors, the Discovery Centre provides opportunities for undergraduate students to participate in course design through the Students as Partners Program (SaPP) and faculty supervised research through the I-CUREUS program.

Future Learning Lab – Coming Fall 2022

Carleton is creating a new space to bring educators and students together to share, research and design thanks to $1 million in funding from the Government of Ontario and a matching contribution from the university.

This investment from the province’s Training Equipment and Renewal Fund will support the transformation of the fourth floor of the MacOdrum Library, including the Discovery Centre, into a newly designed space called the Future Learning Lab. Learn more.
