The Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) and the Office of the Associate Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) are pleased to announce that Rachelle Thibodeau has been named the inaugural winner of the Carleton University Excellence in Learning Support Award.
The award recognizes Carleton’s educational support staff members who contribute to the student learning experience in labs, classrooms and many other diverse learning environments across campus.
Rachelle, a coordinator of academic support programs with the Centre for Initiatives in Education (CIE), which houses the ESP/AESP, displays impressive effort, innovation and dedication to student learning. Students and colleagues developed a nomination package that highlighted her professionalism, leadership and creativity, expressing that CIE’s programs wouldn’t be the same without her contributions and infectious enthusiasm.
Congratulations, Rachelle!
