ESP Mentor Application Form

This is the application form for the ESP Mentor position for the 2026-27 academic year. Alternative formats are available by request. Please see the full job description on our website.

Applications are due March 4, 2026.

Please note that ESP Mentor is an in-person position. You will be required to work in person on campus from approximately September 3, 2026 – April 30, 2027.(Required)
Please plan all moves, vacations, etc. around your job duties and make sure your family is aware of your job commitments.

Academics

Note: depending on your length of time in ESP and whether you started ESP in September or January, you may have had both a FYSM and a CIED instructor, or multiple FYSM instructors. Please put the names of all instructors you have had.

Example:

“Philosophy with Jane Doe (Fall), Psychology with John Doe (Fall), Law with Jack Doe (Winter), Anthropology with Jo Doe (Winter).”

Please name the class subjects, if you can’t remember the names of your Facilitators.

(e.g. job, volunteer placement, team, etc.).

Pre-Service Training Requirement

ESP Mentor Pre-Service training is mandatory and is expected to be held in-person on Thursday, September 3, and Tuesday, September 8, 2026 (Orientation Day).(Required)

Please note ESP Mentors will be unable to attend any degree program orientation sessions that conflict with ESP Orientation or Mentor training.

Mentor In-Service Training Requirement

Mentor In-Service training is mandatory and occurs weekly throughout the academic year, except for academic break periods. ESP Mentors must be prepared to reserve time in their schedules to attend every training session.(Required)
