Academic Advice:
As cliche as it may sound follow your passion, relate what you learn to topics that interest you even if it’s a stretch. Even if something feels tedious, try to look for a positive outcome you are getting from it like working on your tolerance to frustration and it will help you feel how every experience is shaping the future you are building for yourself.

Fun Fact:

I dropped out of school in my home county with less than a year to graduate because I didn’t like academia and now, I am starting a masters in the same discipline 10 years later.
