March 31st is a major reporting deadline for many of our research funds. Some things you may wish to do to prepare for year-end include:
- Review the activity in your fund for accuracy. Any changes that are required should be sent to your fund administrator by March 15th.
- Please note that Tri-Council and OCE do not track expenses against awards on a yearly basis. It is therefore not necessary to include items to be purchased in a particular fiscal year if they are not already purchased.
- If your fund is terminating on March 31st and you require an extension, contact your funding agency before March 31st.
- Check your compliance expiry dates.
- Check the deadlines for applying to have your compliances renewed.
