Please join us in congratulating our colleague, Dr. Nassim Tabri – he has just won the 2021 Annual Research Award from the National Council on Problem Gambling for his paper, “An Examination of the Validity and Reliability of the Positive Play Scale: Findings From a Canadian National Study” (Nassim Tabri, Richard Wood, Kahlil Philander and Michael Wohl).

This award is given to the best original peer-reviewed research article on disordered gambling published within the past year. The research must contribute substantially to the understanding of this disorder. The criteria include the impact, quality and relevance to gamblers and their families.
