Course Description:
In this seminar time will be spent discussing, developing and synthesizing ideas about interdisciplinary approaches to understanding violence against women (e.g., partner abuse, sexual assault) and children (e.g., sexual, physical and psychological abuse and neglect) across the lifespan. Attention will be devoted to theory, research and practice.
Evaluation:
Participation grades, thought papers, class presentation and final paper
