Qlik is a business intelligence and cloud computing company, recently named one of Forbes’ 2016 most innovative companies. The Ottawa office has been open for about a year and is the main R&D lab for their cloud product.
Qlik is hosting a hackathon at their office on Thursday, October 27th. Transportation will be provided for students as well as lunch & snacks. A portion of the hackathon will be a learning component from their engineers which could be really valuable to students. Competition will be friendly and the winning team gets prizes! This could be a great way of getting students exposure to industry leading technology and practices.
