Dr. Peter Ricketts, Carleton’s Provost and Vice-President (Academic), and Dr. Joy Mighty, Associate Vice-President (Teaching and Learning), celebrated the 2014 Carleton University Teaching Award winners at a private luncheon at Baker’s Grill on Wednesday, June 4.
Provost’s Fellowship in Teaching Award winners Kim Hellemans (Neuroscience), Wayne Horn (Math) and Vincent Kazmierski (Law) were all in attendance, as well as New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award winners Melanie Adrian (Law) and Danielle Kinsey (History), and Teaching with Technology Award winner Paloma Raggo (Public Policy and Administration).
The two other outstanding educators who were unable to attend the luncheon were Teaching with Technology Award winner Cheryl Schramm (Systems and Computer Engineering) and New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award winner Audrey Girouard (Interactive Media and Design).
