Undergraduate research is an umbrella term for all kinds of learning done outside the classroom – experiential learning, immersive learning, community-based learning, internships and practicums, and even international exchanges and travel. Undergraduate research is happening all over campus and the Discovery Centre plays a central role in promoting and supporting these activities.
On Oct. 23 join us at the EDC for a teaching roundtable entitled Undergraduate Research at Carleton to learn about the events taking place at the Discovery Centre that facilitate undergraduate research and contribute your thoughts on how Carleton can move to incorporate undergraduate research in all programs across campus. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Provost Scholar Award, the I-CUREUS Grant, the Bader International Travel Award, our library of materials from the Council of Undergraduate Research, and our upcoming Undergraduate Research Conference.
The session runs from 12-1 p.m. in room 422 Dunton Tower.
