The Discovery Centre is welcoming the new academic year with an event featuring presentations and exhibits from undergraduate students about their summer work experiences. The event is to showcase to our new faculty and our new incoming students the value and potential of undergraduate students working in research – through summer internships, through enquiry-based projects in courses, and through positions in faculty research labs made possible by the funding available through the Discovery Centre, from the Office of the Provost. The students have worked here on campus, in Africa, and in Canada’s high north … and even here in the Discovery Centre using our 3D printers.
Students: Explore possibilities for your degree outside of the classroom.
Faculty: Get excited by, and start planning for, new undergraduate research projects.
