“Low-Tech” ALC Presentation
Nov. 11, 1-2:45 PM, 431 Tory Building
Combining a collaborative learning environment with several tech tools, this presentation in 431 Tory Building (Carleton’s new “low-tech” ALC) will introduce you to the tools available and give you some ideas on activities to encourage collaboration between students in their pursuit of knowledge. You’ll explore the classroom and the tools available and participate in team challenges involving unique configurations of the space.
“High-Tech” ALC Presentation
Nov. 18, 1-2:45 PM, 213 Tory Building
Ideal for encouraging workgroups to research, collaborate and present their work, this presentation in 213 Tory Building (Carleton’s new “high-tech” ALC) will introduce you to the tools and possibilities of using this unique learning environment. You’ll have the chance to explore the classroom and the tools available, participate in workgroup challenges using the tools as well as research exercises and one-minute presentations.
