“Open educational practices” is a broad term that encompasses the creation and adoption of open textbooks and other open educational resources, open course development, and “non-disposable” assignments.
On Feb. 11, join Teaching and Learning Services and ODFASS for a presentation by Rajiv Jhangiani (Department of Psycholgoy, Kwantlen Polytechnic University) that will make a case for why the move away from traditional (closed) practices is not only desirable but inevitable, and how students, faculty, institutions and our communities all stand to benefit greatly from this transformation.
The session runs from 11 a.m. – noon in the Discovery Centre Multimedia Lab.
Space is limited, so register today!
