The Carleton-based Community-First: Impacts of Community Engagement (CFICE) research partnership is hosting a free webinar on Wednesday, October 25 from 2-3 p.m. directed at instructors who participate in community-campus partnerships for teaching, research and more (or who are interested in doing so).
The webinar/roundtable will be chaired by Prof. Peter Andrée (Political Science, Carleton University) and will feature Prof. Nadine Changfoot (Political Studies, Trent University), Prof. Charles Levkoe (Canada Research Chair in Sustainable Food Systems, Lakehead University), and Colleen Cristopherson-Cote (Saskatoon Poverty Reduction Partnership).
Based on personal experiences, as well as their project’s research studying over 40 different partnerships in the areas of poverty reduction, food security, environmental sustainability, and violence against women, the presenters will share lessons learned, and working practices for improving your future campus-community engagement partnerships.
