Call for Proposals
Carleton University has always been committed to helping its students succeed. Regardless of their discipline or level of study, Carleton students are offered learning experiences that allow them every opportunity to succeed, not only academically, but also in their careers and as citizens of their various communities. One important contributor to assuring students’ success is engaging them in experiential learning, which allows them to apply academic content to real-world experiences in the classroom and the lab, within the workplace, or in the community. The theme of the 2018 Teaching and Learning Symposium explores some of the opportunities and challenges of using experiential learning to promote student success.
Are you involved in experiential learning at Carleton? A key element of this event will be the participation of Carleton community members. We are seeking examples from all disciplines that illustrate a variety of teaching approaches. Get more information and submit your proposal online here.
If you are interested in hosting a display in the Richcraft Hall atrium, please contact Eileen Harris at eileenharris@cunet.carleton.ca to discuss.
