As part of Teaching and Learning Services’ 30th Anniversary celebrations, TLS will host two special presentations by the Fulbright Canada Distinguished Chairs in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).
On March 30, professor Susan Hrach presents, No More Brains on Sticks: A Case for Embodied Learning. The presentation looks at the role of the human body in learning by examining how embodied strategies can enhance student engagement and performance.
On April 6, professor Peter Felten presents, Relationships Matter: Teaching for Learning, Equity, and Well-Being. Drawing on interviews with students, faculty and staff in the U.S., the presentation explores educational relationships as an approach to improving student experiences and achievements.
