This is an introductory session on AI and AI tools—the first in a suite of workshops designed to support instructors as they navigate various aspects of teaching in age of AI. This session will involve an overview of AI and AI tools, considerations for using generative AI, and a hands-on activity to explore its potential uses in the classroom and beyond. Participants will need a device (laptop or tablet) to engage with the activities in this workshop.
