FUSION modules are created through robust research and collaboration with a subject-matter expert.
Individually, these modules provide the opportunity to develop the in-demand skills students need today. Taken together, they prepare students as well-rounded and capable citizen scholars to successfully navigate learning, work and life.
Available Modules
The following modules are available for students to complete and for instructors to incorporate into their courses.

Adaptability
Adaptability helps you to achieve or adjust goals and behaviours when expected or unexpected change occurs by planning, staying focused, persisting and overcoming setbacks.

AI Literacy
AI literacy means understanding artificial intelligence concepts, applications and implications, so you can interact with AI technologies ethically and responsibly and critically evaluate their impact.

Collaboration
Collaboration is being able to contribute and support others to achieve a goal. Teamwork is a cooperative process that allows every person to achieve extraordinary results.

Communication
Communication is the ability to construct and convey a message through an appropriate medium. Good communication skills enhance your ability to think critically and collaborate with others.

Constructive Dialogue
Constructive dialogue involves considering different viewpoints and working together towards a mutual understanding to ensure people feel respected and included in the conversation.

Creativity
Being creative involves thinking in new ways and seeing the world from different angles. To truly discover your creative voice, you need to understand who you are, how you already express creativity in your life and how you can nurture that creativity.

Digital Literacy
Digital literacy is the ability to effectively find, evaluate, create and communicate information using digital technologies, including computers and the internet, while understanding the ethical implications and safety measures involved.

Inclusivity
Inclusivity is the ability to acknowledge and respect different behaviours and ideas in a non-judgmental way, allowing you to be inclusive and welcoming towards different ways of thinking and behaving.

Innovation
Innovation is the collective ability of individuals and organizations to generate new ideas, develop unique products and implementation methods that enhance existing solutions or address emerging needs across various fields.

Metacognition
Metacognition is the ability to “think about your own thinking.” It is the mind’s ability to plan, monitor and assess its own learning and performance.

Problem Solving
Problem solving enables you to connect various analytical strategies to come up with creative solutions to manage difficult situations.

Self-management
Self-management is being able to regulate your emotions, thoughts and behaviours effectively. It allows you to organize your time, motivate yourself and control emotions and actions.

Well-being
This module is currently in development and will be available in January 2026.
