Eva Kartchava
Eva Kartchava has a most impressive academic track record. She holds a bachelor’s degree in theoretical linguistics and a master’s degree in applied linguistics from Concordia. She later received her PhD in didactics of English as a second language from the University of Montreal in 2012.
Since then, she has taught courses in applied linguistics and teacher education at various universities in Quebec. Her teaching career also includes extensive experience teaching English as a second language and foreign language, English for academic purposes and English for specific purposes.
Eva’s research has been published in various journals, including TESOL Quarterly, Language Teaching Research, and Studies in English Language Teaching.
She was the recipient of a 2015 New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award and the 2015 Excellence in Teaching with Technology Award, given to those who display excellence in teaching by integrating technology to enhance students’ learning.
