Isaac Otchere
Isaac Otchere is a business professor decorated with numerous teaching and research awards from each of the universities where he has taught.
Born in Ghana, Isaac moved to Ottawa and completed two master’s degrees before travelling to Australia for his PhD.
Isaac’s teaching style is one that blends theory with practice and garners him excellent student evaluations. Since joining Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business, Isaac has racked up seven awards. His latest are the 2014 Graduate Mentoring Award and the 2012 Provost’s Fellowship in Teaching Award. Others include a Capital Educators’ Award, recognizing Isaac’s positive influence as a role model to his students and his excellence in teaching. In addition, Isaac has also received a Teaching Achievement Award, a Research Achievement Award and two student teaching excellence awards.
