John Stead
Dr. John Stead is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neuroscience. Stead received his PhD in Genetics from the University of Leicester, UK in 2000. He completed two postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Leicester in 2002 and at the Mental Health Institute, University of Michigan in 2004. Prior to joining the Department of Neuroscience, he was an Assistant / Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Carleton from 2004 to 2010.
In 2019, John Stead was the chosen recipient of the Provost’s Fellowship in Teaching Award for his leadership and commitment to teaching and learning. He has also been designated as a Carleton University teaching fellow.
