Congratulations today to former ESLA student Frohan Foroutan on receiving one of this year’s Provost Scholar Awards given in recognition of outstanding undergraduate student academics in research, community engagement, immersive learning, and/or international activities.

Since arriving at Carleton, Frohan has thrown herself into her university experience seeking out opportunities in student societies, the Student Engagement Office, and in the Department of Economics in which she studies.  Also, in a recent email, Frohan passed along her appreciation for the support and encouragement she received from SLaLS, from her ESLA instructors, and as a member of the Language Resource Room reception team.

Congratulations on the award Frohan!  It is well-deserved.
