As part of the Jean Monnet Project, “EU Learning in Canadian High Schools,” we will be hosting a one-day conference for high school students. The event will take place on Friday, March 4, 2022. The Conference will explore and explain important topics and issues relating to the European Union. The aim is to educate high school students in EU-related matters to expand their interest and knowledge of European affairs and global topics as it relates to Canada.
The target audience is high school students studying business, world issues, geography, history, economics in Ottawa and the surrounding area. The project will include lesson plans and online instruction materials developed to fit the Ontario curriculum in various courses and events for students held on Zoom.
A registration link will be provided for high school teachers who would like to attend the event with their students.
