Biography
Dr. Xijia Wu obtained his B.Sc. from University of Science and Technology of China, M.Sc. from Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Ph.D from University of Ottawa. His is currently working at the National Research Council Canada, as a Senior Research Officer, with research interests in deformation modeling and life prediction, we well as fracture mechanics. He has published more than 150 papers in referred journals and conference proceedings. He was a recipient of the NRC Industrial Partnership Award in 1999, the Technical Cooperation Program Achievement Award in 2005, and the Casey Baldwin Award for the best paper in Canadian Aeronautical and Space Journal in 2008.
