The Psychology Department is pleased to announce the recent success of one of our past undergraduate students. Matthew Shanahan (Hons. B.A. Psychology, 2004) successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation entitled, “Mathematical Modeling of Stress Management via Decisional Control for Outcomes” at Western University (Supervisor: Dr. Richard [Jim] Neufeld).  Matthew is already busy with counselling, consultation and research duties at the Family Support Centre in London, Ontario, and is working towards supervised practice with the College of Psychologists. Congratulations Dr. Shanahan, a proud Carleton alumnus!
