Are you a Carleton student looking for bite-sized, resumé-boosting experience? Then apply for a Discovery Challenge!
Hosted by the Discovery Centre, Discovery Challenges are short-term, virtual mini-projects (maximum 6-8 hours of work) that count toward your co-curricular record. Challenges are proposed by Carleton staff, faculty, and recognized student groups (e.g., CUSA clubs & societies) who are looking for fresh, student perspectives. See here for an idea of what Discovery Challenges might look like.
New Discovery Challenges will be posted every month. Find open Discovery Challenges on the volunteer job board in mySuccess (via Carleton Central). The first round of Discovery Challenges will be available on Monday, November 23. Submissions via Riipen are due by Friday, December 18 (see the mySuccess job post for details on accessing Riipen). When you’re done the project, complete this form to automatically get CCR credit.
Some Discovery Challenges limit the number of students who can participate, so don’t wait to participate!
